“ The staff was incredibly well trained and so incredibly attentive. I attended a private dinner event here and I was completely blown away by the ambiance and service o was given! In terms of the food it was solid, nothing incredibly memorable. For cocktails I tried the Verte 75 which is good if you like something refreshing and minty/cucumbery. The lychee martini was really just a vodka mixed with lychee syrup and raspberry popping boba so if you're into that go for it but I personally would opt for a more snazzy cocktail. Overall, I'd comeback for the experience mainly. Parking was valet: $10-15 depending on how long you stay and $32 for the general public. ”

“ I typically prefer the OG location, but depending on the occasion, who I'm meeting, etc. this place is slowly winning me over. We typically dine fairly late, but it's never an issue here and they're always on their game. We also tend to order a lot and sit for hours, but the staff are always along for the ride and knowledgable about their menu if you do have questions along the way. Extremely large wine selection, definitely helpful if you need guidance or a push in any direction. But something for everyone certainly. I'd say, if you have the free time and can make it to the original on Westheimer, or if it's a special occassion, that location is worth the extra effort. If you just want a fat steak and decent cocktails during the week, this is the spot. ”

“ A great meal. That 22 ounce bone in ribeye was one of the best steaks I've ever had. Au gratin potatoes were so creamy and cheesy. Green beans were cooked perfectly. Service was good. They initially put us at a noisy area in the bar but I asked for something else and they gave us a booth in the main dining area. Ambiance is classy and well appointed. On par or slightly better than Capital Grille. ”

“ Came in for dinner and I was very impressed by everything I had gotten. Service was amazing and the ambience of the restaurant is great. The place is super spacious yet still intimate despite it's size. For appetizers I got the shrimp cocktail. The shrimp was sweet and tender, and paired very well with the cocktail sauce provided. The sauce was a little on the sweet side, but had a nice tang to it as well. I also got the poblano soup which was very hearty, warm, and had a nice small kick. Perfect for a cold night. For the entree I got a filet mignon which was cooked to a perfect medium and was perfectly seasoned. I also tried some of my friend's broiled salmon fillet which was just as delicious. It had lumps of crab and was doused in a delicious white wine sauce. For sides we had the au gratin potatoes and haricot verts. Both were absolutely delicious and perfectly seasoned. For dessert I got the chocolate turtle pie which is super sweet and super decadent, but was very delicious. As for drinks I tried the lychee martini, crystal key lime martini, and christmas in kentucky. The martinis were both on the sweeter side, and tasted absolutely delicious. The christmas in kentucky was a little spicier and a little stronger than the other two. ”

“ Celebrating a work achievement, I cohosted a dinner for ten at Pappas Bros. steakhouse. Here are the highlights: -Crab cakes - best I have tasted! -Onion rings - crispy and delicious -Brussel Sprouts - rated the best by the table guests! -Salmon dish - quoting guest "4th of July in my mouth!" -Green beans - tasty -Creamed Spinach - really good -8 oz filet mignon - really good The service was top notch - our waiter Jasman was knowledgeable and helpful. The Ambiance is really nice, Live music, darkly lit and it was kind of cold! ”

“ I've always gone to the galleria location but I decided to try the downtown location with my girl and I am glad we did. Derrick was our waiter and he is top notch! I am glad we gave this location a try. Food: what do you expect from pappas steakhouse other than great food!? The bone in ribeye was cooked to perfection. The off the menu Brussels sprouts are so dam good. The au gratin potatoes will have you real lactose intolerant but got dam fam they are so dam good ya heard me! The mouse tart dessert was top notch as well. Pappas steakhouse had been a go to spot for us for many years and will continue to be one of our favorites. The customer was great! Derrick is doing an amazing job here. Great job Derrick! Will definitely ask for him next time. ”
